There has been a fair bit of turnover in recent weeks at Samsung's U.S. operations.
As reported by CNET, at least five executives from across the company's American mobile ranks have left the company.
Samsung confirmed that a number of leaders have left the company, though sources say the departures were not related and include a mix of voluntary and involuntary departures. Senior VP Seshu Madhavapeddy was among the exits, as were vice presidents Nanda Ramachandran, Mike Pennington and Ketrina Dunagan.
"This is an extremely dynamic industry and as a leader, Samsung contributes to that rapid state of change," the company said in a statement to Re/code. "Our U.S. business continues its strong growth and as we continue to diversify, we will keep building an industry-leading organization with people who contribute to even greater success for Samsung."
