Apple has released the latest update for is iOS software and possibly by accident left in details indicating that two new iPad tablets are on the way.
The iOS 7.1 release, which is now available for Apple users fixes a number of bugs, makes a few visual changes, and also adds support for their CarPlay platform.
However, it also includes references to two hitherto unknown Apple iPad models.
The references are to an iPad 4,3 and an iPad 4,6.
The current iPad Air models are internally known as the iPad 4,1 and iPad 4,2, so the iPad 4,3 could be an updated version of that device. Meanwhile, the iPad Mini is the model code 4,4 and 4,5, so the mystery iPad 4,6 could be that product's successor.
