BlackBerry Boss Outraged After T-Mobile Targets Users with Free IPhones!

T Mobile USA has apologized to BlackBerry after it targeted customers using their smartphones for free upgrades to an Apple iPhone
T-Mobile sent emails to customers last week offering the free upgrade to an Apple iPhone, describing it as "a great offer forBlackberry customers".
A number of BlackBerry fans tweeted the details of the email expressing their displeasure. One notable message sent to T-Mobile USA's Twitter account read "trying to get Blackberry owners to switch to iPhones won't work. My company needs efficiency".
T-Mobile USA's CEO, John Legere responded to some of the messages and said that the company was just offering an alternative.
BlackBerry's CEO, John Chen said that customers were right to be outraged, but more soberly simply called the promotion "inappropriate and ill-conceived"
In a statement, he added that "What puzzles me more is that T-Mobile did not speak with us before or after they launched this clearly inappropriate and ill-conceived marketing promotion."
In an open message to T-Mobile he said that "I would like to remind you that our long-standing partnership was once productive and profitable for both BlackBerry and T-Mobile. I hope we can find a way forward that allows us to serve our shared customers once again. Notwithstanding the current challenge, we remain very excited about BlackBerry's future."
