Apple fans have already begun to camp outside the company's flagship US store ahead of next week's expected iPhone 6 launch.
A handful of hardcore enthusiasts have been staking out the shop since August 31, despite the fact the handset will probably not be available to buy before September 19.
Apple sent out media invitations last week to a 'special event' to be held on Tuesday September 9, at the Flint Centre for the Performing Arts at De Anza in San Francisco.
